Lynda Carter is an incredibly popular American performer, actress and model. Her most well-known role was as Wonder Woman in a 1970s television series with the same title. The actress is also a cult image in pop culture. She has played in a variety of movies and television shows over the course of her career. Alongside her extensive acting career Lynda is credited with being the producer and star in five highly rated networks TV specials on CBS many of which have been Emmy Award nominated. She has appeared onstage with some of the world's most well-known singers, including Ray Charles Tom Jones Kenny Rogers George Benson and Ben Vereen. In order to begin her professional career, Giacomo relocated into New York where she began performing in theater productions and receiving rave reviews for most of the roles she played.
