Audra McDonald's artistry is unmatched in her range of talents and variety as a singer, and performer. In 2015, she won an unprecedented 6 Tony Awards as well as two Grammy Awards and Emmy Awards. She was also named in Time magazine among the 100 most influential people and was awarded with the National Medal of Arts - the most prestigious prize given in America for excellence in art by President Barack Obama. The credits she has in the theater include The Secret Garden (1993) Marie Christine (993) Henry IV (2004) and 110 in the Shade (707). In the following season, she starred as an recurring role on the NBC television show Kidnapped. McDonald was U.S. prosecutor Liz Lawrence, a character she first was seen on CBS's The Good Wife legal drama in the year 2009. She reprised this role in 2018, as an episode the regular Liz Reddick in Paramount+'s The Good Fight. In recognition of the role she played, McDonald received three Critics Choice Award nominees. She is also a guest on the HBO series The Gilded Age by Julian Fellowes.
