Anamaria Martinca is an actress from Romania. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are the most spoken languages. Her father was an actor, and her mother a violinist. The award was presented to her as with the Best Female Actor Award in 2000 at the Mangalia Gala for Young Actors. In 2008 the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as an European Shooting Star. Also, she appeared as an infant in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in the BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a guest in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. She appeared as Irma in Fury 2014, in which she played an German known aunt for Emma.
