Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Following her graduation, her first job was with the real estate industry. She was introduced to Tarek Al Moussa, who was in the real estate industry. The couple ran a profitable business up until 2008 when real estate agents as well as house flippers and many others broke. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa had a chance to be insolvent due to the market crash in the year 2008. The cost of their apartment was $750 per week, which was a far cry to the $6,000 they had been paying per month for their house. The economy as well as their business slowly recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 requested a colleague to aid him in making an HGTV tape showing Christina and him flipping a home from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. The execs were infatuated with Christina's story of love between Tarek and Christina. In 2012 the couple reached a deal with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013 Between 2013 between 2013 and 2017, the series was a hit for 7 seasons. Christina and Tarek were seen buying homes which were usually located within Orange County. After spending many weeks making improvements, they would flip them to make profits. Tarek is focused on demolition and renovation while Christina concentrates on style and making sure that the project is on time.
